OOTD: 'Blush Blazer'

When I saw this casual blazer on boohoo (at a discounted price of course... :P) I instantly fell in love and had to get it. I was a bit undecided about what size to get but ended up getting it in a size 8 and it fits perfect. It's an open front, shawl collared casual blazer with ¾ sleeves. I got it in the colour 'blush' which is a light coral pink. It comes in a few other colours too. The only thing with this jacket is that it's not very warm. So, it's a light summer jacket rather than something to keep the goose pimples at bay! This colour is a very summery colour anyway so it's great for this time of the year.

In this OOTD I have worn a strappy white vest top tucked into some light denim jeans. It's quite simple but I think the blazer is enough to add a bit of sophistication. To match the paleness of the blazer white, cream or pastel simple tops will look lovely with this blazer. I didn't manage to get any full length pictures but I wore some nude colour ballet pumps (which were also from amazing boohoo) but I think any light coloured shoes will match. I think for a more sophisticated and chic look I wore it with a slightly messy bun. I've also worn the outfit with my hair down too :)

Please ignore the trainer which I stupidly didn't move...

Here's where I got everything from...

White strappy vest top – Primark – these are always available in store for around £2-£3

Light denim jeans – T.K.MAXX – Brand: Toxik3
